It’s worse for us Gen-Xers. We remember living as adults in the time before it all went from kinda shitty to the diarrhea apocalypse.

Yep, things looked positive for a short while after the end of the cold war and the Internet became widespread when we entered the workforce. The advancement of the human race only seemed a matter of time.

But our Boomer parents weren’t willing to let anyone else have a bright future, keeping us away from any real power while driving exploitation of nature and people to the max to fill their bank accounts.

Lol. The worst thing that can happen is war. I will be very grateful if I don’t have to endure it in my lifetime.

But burgerstanis surrounded by two oceans are complaining about burgers and gas while sowing death and conflict around the world.

It’s 2 pandemies. People like to forget H1N1… & at least 4 recessions since the 90s… & the rise of Neo-Faschism should definetly be there as well.

Not to mention BSE, we got that the head-end of that one as well. And of course the planet literally burning.

I was rippin’ Rust a few years ago, especially after reading Stephen Markley’s The Deluge and having a bit of a breakdown. Then I was

Then the anxiety counter got to 999,999 and ticked back over to 000,000 and broke, so now I’m just sorta

getting more weird and whimsy instead of more anxious.

I don’t have any kids of my own. I feel sorry for the other people’s kids but I wish them all the best in the cannibal wars to come.

Yeah, as a fresh 44 year old, I’d really love to have a boring decade where nothing much happens. Just a bit of a breather before the inevitable climate wars. I’ve lived through so many ‘once in a lifetime’ events, it’s not even funny.

And super el ninos, multiple 21st century wars, and watching technology advanced so fast it devolved.

Gen X had Reagan and LA Riots and the .com bubble burst and Gulf War and Waco and Columbine in addition.

We are ready to die, thank you I must be going. Sorry
