Bought a crappy singlewide trailer on a few acres last year, I’ve been learning a lot about fixing electrical stuff in trailer houses. And floors. And roofs. And growing food. And raising chickens.
Not even just the lot rent. Eventually some pin-dicked investor type is going to buy the place, jack up the rents and kick everybody out. Good luck moving your “mobile” home.

Add a banjo to that and I’m in
Looked at trailers with how cheap they are, then learned there’s a monthly lot rental. 🤦♂️ may as well just buy a cheap house at that point.
Thats why i bought land with a trailer on it. No lot rent but there is a mortgage.
Some lot rent is crazy.
I’ll look into that. Thanks. Yeah saw $700 lot rent, like what the fuck?

There are some mobile home retailers that will sell you a “land-home package”. So you can have a new house on a couple of acres. I almost did that.
