This is how American medicine is treated here in Sweden.

Got really sick when I visited the states, and my friend gave me some NyQuil and DayQuil. Holy fuck me in the ass, it was amazing. I completely crashed when I reached Heathrow, but it took me from being a feverish, snivelly mess, to feeling completely normal.

Here in Sweden we at most take ibuprofen/acetaminophen. If you’re burning up it’ll take the edge off, but you’re not going to be feeling good.

Man I want some of those Ami drugs.

      American who lives in Denmark:

First time I got sick and went to our pharmacy and was like “how do I get NyQuil?” I got basically laughed at. Miserable experience.

Now we take some NyQuil back when we can lol

I’m in the same boat as you- I brought 2 bottles of dayquil back last time. Same with melatonin, I don’t typically use it but sometimes I need that stuff. I can only survive on strepsil and ibuprofen for so long.

The active ingredients used to be okay here in Sweden some ~25 years ago, but teens would abuse them, and our government is extremely anti-drugs. It’s literally the one thing all parties agree on.

I’d also bring some home. It’s great stuff. ww
