It doesn’t seem like you saw or understood the movie if you can say that. You can argue all day about how not every fascist is stupid but trump certainly is and so are a few others such as hegseth. But even more relevant is that people are tuned out of anything important and tuned into idiotic entertainment which consumes their whole lives. I could go read about the movie to remind myself of more details but I have a feeling you’d shoot them all down anyway because of some difference. I rewatched that movie a couple years ago with my partner and it was full of moments where it seemed to if not predict things that hadn’t happened yet, to put its finger on something stupid about society that any semi intelligent has noticed and always felt weird about.
Also did you forget that trump had a UFC fight near the Whitehouse recently…? That alone would warrant a comparison.
