From what I heard, they hollowed out the whole car and even some of the battery to make room for air tanks. And the whole operation only lasted as long as your average CyberTruck owner.

There are two tanks 400L and 200L of compressed air at 10000 psi.

With this it is possible to do these stunts. But only these stuns. (with the guessed mass of 2000 kg).

So while it is impractical and you need to compress air for hours in order to do 6 seconds of flight, it is real probably.

Also compressed air at 10 000 psi is basically a bomb in your car. I would not go anywhere near that!

I think they mounted the tanks where the driver and passenger would be. They also said that the production model would have 2x 600L tanks. That’s just absurd. Most cars have trunks that are 400 - 500L in capacity. Someone correct me if by 600L they mean a compressed volume of 600L or if they mean a volume of 600L at atmospheric pressure compressed down into the tanks.

If I were a betting man, I’d say when it comes out (if it comes out), it would only have rear thrusters and be severely reduced in capacity and force.

There’s also the small matter of there being not one single person on this entire planet who could be trusted to use the “hop” (not fly) function of the car.

fairly sure it’s 600L of compressed air (at 10000psi/680atm); 600L of 1atm air compressed down would be less than 1L

pulling 10000psi from the number I remember hearing
