Toss your finest armor or weapon in the town center, walk far enough away for the item to be on the opposite corner of the screen, and have a cheap potion in your belt.
Then click on the item you wanna duplicate, and as your character moves to go grab the item, position your mouse cursor over the belt items, and if you time it exactly right (60 fps), you pick your health potion or whatever cheap belt item at the exact frame where your character picks his badass sword or whatever off the ground, well that belt item just turned into a duplicate of the item on the ground.
Or you could just hand yourself whatever item you wanted - but ofc that’s a different cheat:-P.
