My thoughts on being born
I was quite happy to get rid of it actually, recurring inflammation and infection due to severe physiological phimosis isn’t fun. I vaguely remember having to try cream and trying to pull the foreskin back regularly in order to stretch it, but that didn’t do anything. In the end the conclusion was that the situation would not resolve by itself, so it had to go. Doesn’t bother me and never had strange looks because of it, despite circumcisions not being the norm here.
Circumcisions without a medical reason should be considered child abuse though, fuck that crazy shit.

There are medical reasons for removing the foreskin. It could be too tight. I almost had to remove it, but I got a salve that made it more loose instead

Good for you, but in some cases unfortunately the regular treatments don’t work. In those cases a circumcision is a perfectly valid medical last resort intervention.
I feel like in the most cases, the regular treatment is cutting it off. I think its a shame because in most cases that is not the only solution. :)
