Sudden abscorbic rejection is the tolerant reaction to facist sea-lioning.

There are a handful of other issues where a similarly strong rejection is appropriate, such as “surely a little rape is OK” or “why can’t a grandfather fuck a 12 year old”.

It may seem extreme to respond with such vitriol just to a political choice, until you remember that the politocian in question is a rapist and a pedophile.

Trolling or harassing in the “I’m just trying to have a debate”-kind of way, making the most absurd, enraging and usually false arguments while maintaining a civil appearance.
The best metaphor I came across would be a DDoS-attack on a human’s topic focus.

Example: when a comment section discusses what could be done so the Mediterranean became less deadly to refugees, a sea lion could stir shit by asking whether it was “really necessary to not have so many people drowning because refugees are raping, stealing and just straining european social security systems anyway? Just asking questions though.”

Or a sea lion could force you into a debate you never wanted. You make a simple statement most people already agree on that doesn’t need much explanation, like “Yeah, fascism is bad, we shouldn’t vote for fascist candidates and parties”, then a sea lion would start to ask you why fascism is bad, what’s so fascist about candidate A, etc, even under other comments you posted stating they were just trying to have a debate, implying you’re dodging them because you had no argument and made everything up.
