    If a mother is a persistent threat to the life of a child, you want the state to just send them home together?

      PPD often isn’t immediately after giving birth, such as the case we’re talking about. It can take days, weeks, months to set in. And the state doesn’t run the hospitals

        The state defines the laws that govern us and the hospital, so it is the state’s decision. If PPD can result in child murder, maybe we should withhold the child until it’s clear there is no danger.
