not all shiny stones are the same type
They haven’t reached shiny stone era yet though.
Having walked down enough creek beds in my time specifically looking for shiny rocks, I can assure you that every era after the planet cooled down and had flowing water was “shiny stone era” including now.
Maybe not “melted shiny stone” but who cares when you’ve got a cool rock!
I guess “cut stone era” would be more correct.
