This could be about anything not just job listings. Pretty much everything you do electronically harvests your data. I don’t think there are many areas you can participate in society without having your info reaped.
With jobs, they get better data. I give fake names, DOB, addresses etc to everything I have to sign up for… except for government stuff, and job applications

But this says “just” collecting, so not just doing that secondarily but to the exclusion of any other product.
