I’m taking bets the asst. bank manager was told she had to ask by someone else behind the scenes. Then that someone called the cops.

WTH is a beat cop going to do though? How would they know if the check is legit or not? They should have deposited it and waited to see if the funds came in.

The civil-rights case has been assigned to Judge John M. Gerrard, and no summons have been issued. Many people around the country have been surprised to learn that they were being sued by some person they had never met in Nebraska.

I started a local group and wanted to get more people involved. After months of trying to do that without FB and failing, I gave up, signed up for FB. I made a couple of posts, seemed OK. Three days in, they did this to me - asked for a pic of my ID. I uploaded an AI gen pic of Galileo instead. They banned me.
