I once heard Ozzy Osborne answer a similar question with “Because it would sound bloody stupid if I sang in a Brummie accent”.

I saw this trailer the other day, and until a few minutes ago I had no idea it’s a documentary. Jesus christ, it’s going to be an incredible piece of work.

I don’t think they know about second remaster.
I’ve got Nebula. Took 'em up on a deal on an annual sub when Tom Scott started his new series on there.
It’s…fine.
It’s nice to watch channels like Mr Mobile without adverts, but channels like Not Just Bikes and Mustard already run on YT without ads. Sure, there’s an ad for Nebula at the end their episodes, but it’s right at the end, so is easily skipped.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s loads of stuff on there, but discovery isn’t particularly easy, and most of it is USA-centric, which doesn’t really interest me.
Almost too good, I find.
I tend to have safe search off, because I’m a grown up. But it can be kind of annoying to search for a completely innocuous term, only for the image results to somehow be rammed full of people getting rammed full.

Tbh, I don’t have an issue with people only offering their porn through sites like OF. They’re (mostly) just regular people who are making something that people want, while taking all the social risk associated with making porn. Only offering their work through that platform gives them some level of agency. It’s only fair that people pay for that stuff, I think.
Pirate shit from the big studios all you like though. Fuck 'em.
The reason we Brits voted to leave the EU was because we couldn’t tolerate having to see friends any more.
I was happy to pay for YT Premium when there was a loophole so you could sign up from a far cheaper country. I paid about £6 a month for the family plan, purely so I could watch on Apple TV without having to tolerate adverts.
Then they closed the loophole, shitcanned our premium, and demanded £20 for the same experience. We had Netflix at the time, which was cheaper. So I made a little app as a frontend for yt-dlp, and downloaded what I wanted to watch into my Jellyfin server.
Fuck Google.
With the glorious return of Tom Scott, I finally signed up to Nebula yesterday, and am pleasantly surprised at how many of my YT regulars are already on there. £30 for a year, no ads, and an Apple TV app.
Which is £30 more than I paid YouTube, because the family plan is a ridiculous amount of money.
1/3th
How are we pronouncing this?

Not an unpopular opinion, I know, but I will die on the hill of Discord being the worst possible service for anyone who thinks they want to offer support for their software.
It’s so comically bad for what SO MANY people use it, and is genuinely a point at which I’ll just abandon the software and look for something that has an actual support forum.
Now imagining a low wooden frame with a moustache, complaining that Frosties aren’t as good as they used to be.
(they’re not)
The more effort you put into your terrible, artisanal shitposting, the more I’m going to love it.

My Calibre library is in a SyncThing folder, so all three of my computers have access to the same library. My phone’s photo folder syncs to it, as well as the working folder for my radio show, so I can work on it wherever I am. It costs me nothing, and requires basically no maintenance.

SyncThing. That shit has pretty much replaced iCloud Drive for me, and as such has saved me a fortune.
Interspecies polyamory? Yes.

I use Soulseek along with a little command line tool to download all the music for my radio show. It’s an absolute joy to use.
The meme is that it’s an anti-meme. Very, very meta. Peak shitposting.
