My god, I hope no car has ERA. Explosive Reactive Armor literally explodes in order to disrupt an incoming shaped charge.

That is a big part of why people talk about addressing the sources of violence. A big one is to reduce the feeling of loneliness/helplessness. Education about finances, education about and for career paths (we have a dire shortage of blue collar workers), social safety nets, and increasing people’s involvement in their community.

Make people feel like they belong, make people feel they are in control of their own lives, make people feel like they have a future.

Seriously.

I advocate against using Doordash because it is overly expensive and that money is better spent paying down debt. But claiming it’s bad to pay someone to do a job for you? The fuck?
