That ‘y’ is a dead giveaway that it’s welsh. Llewellyn is another one. The welsh for wales is cymru - “kimree”.

In high school there was this one guy, Bryn, who i didn’t like but he hung out with us and prevented other bullies from targeting our goth weirdo circle. I’ve always described jupiter as earth’s bryn.

Fahrenheit is demonstrably better for describing temperature as experienced by a human.

It’s just not though. F uses a wider range of numbers to describe common outside air temperature, but more numbers =/= better.

I’ve lived in both F and C countries and farenheit is not easier, more intuitive, more sensible or better in any way. A number is a number. The extra precision of F is not super useful - no one can really feel a 1F difference. The freezing point of water does make a huge difference, so knowing above/below zero C is useful, but above/below 32F is no harder.

This argument that F is somehow more suitable for human temperatures is something you see online, but as someone comfortable with both i can say there is functionally no difference, except that metric is compatible with the rest of the world.

Solo is not an independant mercenary. Solo is a beefy heavy gun type. It comes the tabletop rpg. If you make a combat character who’s powerful enough to solo the enemy with minimal help from the rest of the party, that’s a solo. Rocket launchers, HMG, weapons with kinda broken rules, heaps of hit points, etc.

Fun! Yeah i think that’s what graeber & wengrove would call “play heirarchy” - temporary, rotating or situational relations rather than the perminant domination of heirarchy.

That doesn’t sound like a heirarchy, if you can all just do your thing.

If the manager or frontman tells everyone else what to do and you can’t decide for yourself or tell them what to do, that would be hierarchic.

The boss picture is missing a whip - all heirarchy is coercive.

The leader picture should be identical to the boss one except the leader should be saying “We’re all pulling together!” while whiping.

Is there a reason you’re not doing this? If I made income from you tube I’d want someone to draw my attention to this.

I’d think that a “hey, I noticed this weird thing, is that you delisting or is yt being shady?” type communication would be appreciated and help flesh out the picture.
