When someone ive blocked replies to me I see that “continue comments” link, which opens to nothing regardless if there are sibling comments from unblocked users.

Every time I use incognito window to see a reply from someone I’ve blocked (cuz old.lemmy does this thing where you can’t see any replies under you if someone you blocked replied as well), they confirm I was correct in blocking them.

Everyone’s media literacy, reading comprehension, ability to appreciate nuance or capacity to consider multiple non-mutually-exclusive ideas in their head at once is vanishing.

It’s actually so fucking depressing to see how many people who I agree with politically and ethically are also kind of stupid and seem to have peaked intellectually.

Ponzi Scheme: TSLA, SPCX, ETC all having IPOs and owning stakes in each other and getting retail investors to pay their staffs wages.

Ball & Cup: Nvidia invests in OpenAI, OpenAI uses those funds to buy AI Data Centers from Microsoft, and Microsoft builds those AI data centers with NVIDIA products.

These mechanisms allow them to keep inserting cash into the bubble. Only after they have built the Data Centers and monopolized computer access will they allow the bubble to pop.
