I can only speak for the countries I know anything about, but things steadily get worse elsewhere too. Yeah it’s hard to drop to USA-levels, but look at your own country objectively. Are the big things like work hours, purchasing power, access to similar resources as the rich, work safety, etc, getting better where you are?
And when you find an example of a specific thing, which of course happens; What motivated those gains? For where I live, it’ll typically directly follow a big protest and suddenly all the parties getting their act together for a week, or it’ll be the one thing the socialists in parliament managed that year.
