Okay, I decided to give you another chance and came back to read the rest
but if we vote for democrats who are in reality moderates
wow, you’re the meme. I am afraid of getting an aneurysm from reading the rest of your fascist doublethink “genocide is moderate we have to vote for the democrats so we can get rid of the extreme republicans because they’re doing genocide” line of argument.
Republicans (red) are a united party while leftist groups are split between democrats (blue) and true leftists (green). this gives power to Republicans.
Well, again, (you really seem to struggle with reading what I write, I have to repeat myself quite a lot. Are you okay? Do you have a trusted adult or some sort of DNC botfarm handler you can talk to?), my issue with the republicans is not that they are republican it is their policies, which are similar to the democrats, so one party or the other in power is the same to me. The less power I can give them the better, so I won’t vote for either.
your vote for a party that cannot win in the short term… is just really a vote for nazis, pedophiles, rapists, and genocide lovers.
By your logic a vote for the dems is a vote for the republicans. My vote is apparently what makes the difference between the democrats winning or losing. I will not vote for them. With you knowing that, you voting for democrats is just another vote for republicans, since the democrats won’t win.
Furthermore you seem to be stuck in a weird limbo, oscillating between short and long term thinking - depending on what most benefits your rhetorical position. Voting third party is bad because they won’t win in the short term. We have to vote for democrats, even though that means accepting genocidal fascism in the short torm, due to some undefined long term goal.
If I have to accept the unacceptable (genocide) in the short term anyway, I might as well go for an actually cogent long-term plan that hasn’t been shown to fail - which “vote for the democrats and push them left” and “vote for the democrats AND THEN organize” have been shown to do. Following your strategy we’ve come to a place where, according to you, not committing a genocide is seen as an “extreme leftist position”. Seems like a pretty shit strategy.
I’m going to invest my resources (and my votes) with an actually principled leftist party and use elections as a means of building momentum, while understanding the electoral system is inherently flawed.
