France is interesting, because you’d think a country with revolution baked into its culture would be communist by now, but no. It’s missing two vital ingredients: strategy and organization.
Having an advanced class struggle isn’t enough. You need a vanguard party directing it toward revolution. If France had that, I’m pretty sure it’d already be communist.
Bolsheviks continue to be proven right to this day.
