Same here. The infuriating tragedy of self-censoring or algospeak aside, “Ahh” is phonetically not even close to “ass”. If we’re going this route, wouldn’t something like “Goofy S Car” be much closer?
I’m not fully integrated into the history etc but I was under the impression that ahh was one of those things taken from aave as opposed to being a form of self censorship.

The disgust and second hand shame i feel whenever I see someone online fail to type “ass” is incalculable.
I’m sure they think that they were being quirky and cute. I wish they could understand how repugnant they appear.
