im looking to get an appletv, cause its basically the most privacy-friendly streaming box you can get (unless you make a linux box of course), but im not sure if you can use something like smarttube on an appletv. I can barely watch youtube with the ads its insane. I’d recommend creating a new Google account for setup, and then basically never using it again. Forward emails to a trusted address so it doesn’t auto-delete due to inactivity.
