For legal reasons I must clarify this dunk is exclusively for this silly strain of online anarchism I see, where people don’t account for things like “supply chains” or “the murderous imperialists that will decend upon you the moment you become a threat to capitalism”.
“Anarchist supply chains” makes it pretty clear that they think this model somehow replaces global supply chains. If they didn’t mean that, they wouldn’t have said it, and I think you’re at the point of basically ignoring the stated intent to invent a reason to feel outraged.
Yes, the dunk of “Well I’ll just come and kill you” is juvenile and silly, but so is the original post.
Except that the common refrain from anarchists when asked why their attempts at forming a society failed is that they would’ve gotten away with it too if only some other group hadn’t attacked them.

People like the person in the screenshot who made that comic. They’re around if you look for them. I generally dont like bashing other tendencies as long as we agree on the important stuff, but this one was funny. You will typically be able to spot them in threads about electorialism or threads critiquing Nato. Or I assume those are the types @yogthos@lemmy.ml are talking about. If it is a common occurrence to them, then they should have no issue finding a quick link to some comment or other.

A supply chain and a global supply chain aren’t the same though. Growing your own food is a supply chain. Encouraging others to do so reduces reliance on the global supply chain, but isn’t claiming that they are one and the same.
Right and when people discuss supply chains within a system of governance do you think they are discussing the supply chain of milk from your fridge to your mouth, or how the society (and not just you) is to be supplied with raw materials, foodstuffs, processed goods, manufactured goods, water, electricity, heating, transport, education, medical aid, medicine, and so on?
The OG meme is an old one that gets shared once in a while. It is some dumbass trying to make a clever counterargument to the question of how an anarchist society would handle the complex needs of a modern society. The response is a similar low-effort rebuttal that points out the incredibly naive and individualistic approach to the function of society laid out by the “anarchist”.
