      The Australians and Western Europeans being surprised by the same Latin America style political shenanigans perpetrated on them by the american government to prevent them from going commie – or obstructing the Epstein class in Australia’s case – feels so much more satisfying than proving a maga wrong and I think betrays acculturation as an American.

      I was surprised too. I searched it up and supposedly the US had something to do with pushing the govener general to sac the labour prime minister and replace him with the liberal opposition.
