      No actually the complete absence of evidence for the uighur genocide compared to the overwhelming body of evidence for the palestinian genocide makes for an extremely strong argument that the former is fictional

          Big claims require big evidence, especially when they’re coming from the US about alleged human rights violations that coincidentally happen to justify our preexisting foreign policy goals

            Again, not the argument. The argument is “I didn’t see this with my own eyes so it’s not happening”. That’s a dumb argument. People use that to justify all sorts of things on all sides. Climate change denial. Flat earthers. People who think the CIA never did anything bad in south America. Etc.

            If you’re arguing against me you’re arguing for those people because my only claim is that those people suck and the person I responded to was acting like one of those people.
