A ridiculous question. “Tankie” isn’t a term anyone self-identifies with, it’s mostly a term used by liberals to hurl at anyone to the left of them or anyone who agrees with western foreign policy. The survey results will be as meaningless as the term “tankie” itself.

It’s also Europeans that do that, though. I’ve seen it happen, especially from nationalists from Europe.
I honestly don’t know many Europeans that have even heard of the term. But that’s mostly because Germans are completely oblivious to their surroundings. I also don’t hang out with nationalists and thank fucking God there aren’t too many of those in my area.
Technically, the term originated in the communist party of Great Britain, though it’s widely used by anti-communists everywhere in the english-speaking internet. It’s a very online term these days.
