Microsoft will no longer provide updates for the system and this will turn an estimated 200 to 400 million laptops and computers worldwide into security risks and heavily polluting e-waste. Yours may be one of them.

If you bought your computer after 2010, there’s most likely no reason to throw it out. By just installing an up-to-date Linux operating system you can keep using it for years to come.
