I am from Austria, “not everything was bad under hitler” was said a LOT by the older generations.

I don’t think a single individual viewpoint is giving a great picture about the overall situation of a country.

I also don’t see why people think they have to pick countries or ideologies like sportsteams. Just look at it with an open mind and take the good parts as inspiration and the bad parts as a warning.
